On 15th September 2010, Suchitra Film Society, Bangalore celebrated its 40th Birth Day in a novel way by inviting the founder members who took the initiative in forming the society on 28th Aug 1971, with the screening of V.Shantaram’s classic Dr. Kotnis ki Amar Kahani. It was just like a family get-together and the entire family of Suchitra Film Society participated in this event and enjoyed the celebration.
